A voice for women in family law

For many years, fathers' stories and fathers' rights activism have dominated the media and shaped popular opinion, impacting on policy and practice in family law.

Women often feel their opinion is ignored during the family law process, and their children's well being compromised as contact is prioritised above all other needs, including safety needs.

Maypole works to give women an equal voice in family law, by gathering evidence from women on the issues they face, writing press releases and reports, and responding to media coverage and Government consultations.
