Self help on line forum
We have created an on line social network forum where women who are involved in separation and divorce, or issues arising, can contact and support each other. This is a pilot network, and will help us develop a membership scheme next year.
Because the site is new, and will be underpopulated at first, one or more representatives from Maypole Women will also visit the forum, to give information and advice. These representatives will be women who have had similar experiences, or who work professionally in supporting women. Maypole representatives will be distinguished by the Maypole Trustee logo and be named Administrator on the site.
Membership of the Maypole self help social forum is open to all women personally affected by separation and divorce, or related issues.
Membership of the pilot forum is free. However, Maypole is currently run solely on volunteer time, and a donation would be appreciated. A contribution of £5, £10 or £20 would help us develop our support services for women involved in separation and divorce.
Conditions of membership will be reviewed on a regular basis. Membership of the forum will automatically expire after six months unless otherwise stated. A representative of Maypole will contact you before the expiry date to discuss continuing your membership.
